Tech investors have taken note, with companies building robotics raising a record $26.5 billion in 2025. However, to fully capitalize on this opportunity, Europe must address its energy supply challenges. The region's high energy costs could be a significant factor in determining its success in the AI race, as highlighted by Microsoft's CEO, Satya Nadella. Huang emphasized the need for Europe to increase its energy supply to invest in the necessary infrastructure for a thriving AI ecosystem. Despite these challenges, the rapid buildout of AI infrastructure in Europe shows no signs of slowing down, with Huang stating that AI has initiated the 'largest infrastructure buildout in human history.' He estimates that hundreds of billions of dollars have already been invested, with trillions more needed to complete the infrastructure development.
